Book Blogs/Websites
These blogs are from "professional" reviewers or book publishers. I tend to enjoy the Book Blogs that are bright and appealing to the eye, yet organized, and focus on YA literature.
Cuddlebuggery Book Blog--YA book blog started in 2012. They have a team of bloggers that have a fine eye for quality YA fiction. The site also publishes information on upcoming book release dates, cover reveals, and posts guest bloggers' and fans' videos.
Book Revels--The set up isn't as "in your face" as Cuddlebuggery, but there are still very good reviews, just with a quieter "style." Ellie, the blogger in charge, also provides Goodreads summaries for each book, which I find very helpful.
All Our Worlds: Diverse Fantastic Fiction--An amazing site devoted to sci-fi/fantasy books that contain marginalized/diverse characters. There is a strong focus on LGBTQ characters in sci-fi/fantasy books. I have found this resource invaluable over the past several months for finding new, diverse literature for the Uni Library.
Comics Readers Advisory--This beautifully designed website was created by one of my classmates in the comics class I had the pleasure of taking while getting my Masters in Library Science. It is full of wonderful information for those of us who might need to learn more about graphic novels before we begin purchasing them. She's also included Comics RA Resources, an annotated Reading Log of comics she's read, and a Convention Report of a Comic Convention she attended in Chicago.

Library Blogs
These are blogs written by a single librarian or library social media teams.
Adventures in Library Land--The sister blog to this website was started in the Fall of 2014, when I began as a Graduate Assistant at University Laboratory High School (affiliated with the University of Illinois) in Urbana, IL. I post musings on new books, pictures of displays and bulletin boards, discuss special things I find in our libraries collection, and I've recently posted my first video book talk. Fun times!
Library Land Pinterest Page--Keep track of all of my fun library-related goodness on Pinterest. My page has celebrities reading, lots of book lists, library memes, library infographics, and other fun library stuff to get into and enjoy.
Awful Library Books--This is one of my favorite librarian blogs I've found yet...and it was the FIRST I found when I started my Masters in August 2013. It gives tips on weeding, and their tag line is "Hoarding is not collection development." The librarian bloggers, Holly and Mary, give warning to the woes of not weeding by providing glimpses of some of the oldest, most outdated books the they find in libraries they visit. Some of the books and posts are by guest librarians.
Bryce Don't Play--Librarian Bryce offers insightful, useful, joyous, infectious posts about her job as a librarian focused on making her library as welcomed as she can and child-centered programming. She also includes an archive of the presentations she's done and the history behind the blog's unusual name.
